SRN expands readership

By Daniel Hughes

The Southern Riverina News is expanding its reach to now cover the Coleambally and Darlington Point regions.

From today, the SRN will be available to purchase at Central Garage in Darlington Point and Kelly’s Supermarket in Coleambally.

News from both communities will also appear more regularly in our pages.

Southern Riverina News general manager Leesa Muir said it was only natural to expand the coverage area, given the paper’s long running association with Murrumbidgee Council.

‘‘We see this as an extension of our existing relationship to the area through the council, and look forward to connecting with Darlington Point and Coleambally’s residents, their sporting groups and their community groups,’’ Ms Muir said.

‘‘The Southern Riverina News has proudly been a voice for communities in the Southern Riverina for 50 years.

‘‘We are now pleased to be able to extend that to the other communities in our region.

‘‘We encourage groups in our new expanded readership area to speak to our staff about what is happening in their communities.’’
