The first Finley Market to raise awareness and funds for Can Assist Finley, has a huge success.
It was a great turnout with over 80 visiting the market throughout the day.
It's success can also be contributed to some support from locals and visitors.
“The market was well supported by locals and had many out of town visitors who were coming for the Murray League finals or passing through town,” market spearhead and owner of TFOH, Lyn Pascoe said.
“Customers were lined up at the bread stall to get their favourites as soon as he arrived.
“Children also enjoyed a treat of ice cream and a play in the kids corner.”
The day helped raise over $500 for Can Assist Finley through donations at the gate and sales of cakes, crafts, preserves and plants.
The next community market will merge into the Feel Good in Finley festival.
November’s market (3rd weekend of the month) will return to Pinnuck St.
