Please note - Government advice on public gatherings is changing regularly. At the time of publishing this article the silo art trail was still officially open.
The public are being told to respect social distancing and to not gather in groups of more than two.
Advice is also to not take any unnecessary trips. So if you are already going to be driving past one of the silo towns feel free to stop, take a photo and use the town's take-away service.
However, please keep up to date with government advice and do not visit the silos if a lockdown is enforced.
The communities of Devenish and Goorambat are still happy for people to visit their silo art while the country is in the grip of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Devenish Silo Art Committee member Kevin Mitchel said while visitors to the town were asked to respect government advice on travel and congregation, locals were still happy to see tourists come through.
And while they might not be able to bring as much money into the town as normal, with the local pub being closed, for example, Anyone passing through is encouraged to pull over and grab a few photos.
Goorambat Silo Art Committee member Meredith Tolliday echoed Kevin's sentiment.
“The Railway Hotel is currently opening for take-aways,” Ms Tolliday said.
“They are open 12 pm to 2 pm Wednesday to Sunday for lunch.
“And from 6 pm to 8 pm Wednesday to Saturday for evening meals.
“Orders must be placed via phone on 5764 1202 - they are also asking people to pay by card.”
